Who we are
Afrika 2030
We are a non-profit association based in Dortmund, officially registered in Germany, which operates in a politically and religiously neutral framework, while firmly opposing racism and xenophobia. Our mission is to promote intercultural tolerance, the integration of migrants, aid to refugees and persecuted people, and development cooperation in Africa, particularly in the areas of education, health and women's empowerment. We are also committed to the well-being of young people through educational, cultural and social activities that promote coexistence and equal opportunities.
Main aims and objectives
The association pursues public interest objectives and operates in four main areas:
Promoting tolerance and international understanding
We organize cultural shows and festivals that promote diversity and preserve traditions while encouraging openness. Through various initiatives, we encourage the development of intercultural skills, which are essential for strengthening social cohesion and harmonious coexistence. We also provide concrete support for the integration of migrants by working to promote equal opportunities and facilitating their inclusion in society. Its actions to promote cultural coexistence help build a harmonious environment where every individual, regardless of their origin, can find their place and participate fully in community life.

Assistance to persecuted persons and refugees
We develop integration projects that promote encounters and exchanges between refugees and local residents, in order to strengthen mutual understanding and social cohesion. We also offer administrative assistance and daily support, enabling those concerned to better navigate the process and facilitating their integration into everyday life. Finally, the provision of interpreters is essential in overcoming language barriers and ensuring clear communication that is accessible to all.

Development cooperation and education
We actively support students and interns, particularly through language learning and training, in order to strengthen their skills and professional integration. We initiate and implement various projects in Africa in the fields of health, education, nature conservation, and renewable energy development. These actions include building schools, setting up training programs in hospitals and rural areas, and sending volunteers, particularly young people, to participate in cooperation projects. We are also committed to promoting and empowering disadvantaged women by offering them training opportunities and the chance to participate actively in society. We contribute to the education system by supporting engineers, students, and pupils, and by promoting their integration into the economy and social life. Finally, we organize continuing and professional training courses, open to both migrants and the majority population, in order to promote equal opportunities and sustainable development.

We are committed to the well-being of children, young people, and families through a wide range of socio-educational and extracurricular activities. We set up mentoring and reading programs and organize vacation camps, offering young people opportunities for learning and personal development outside of school. Fun activities such as sports, games, and cultural outings contribute to their development and promote social interaction. In addition, we are active in the field of child and youth protection, creating open spaces for communication and socialization that are accessible to all. We also support young people in their education through homework assistance, German language learning, and computer classes, thereby strengthening their skills and social integration.
